This porcelain figurine is a faithful portrayal of the great politician and philosopher known as the father of India, created to coincide with the 150th anniversary of his birth.

Lladró artists have shown Gandhi walking, as a tribute to a leader of non-violence who never stopped marching towards peace. His recognizable physique, his austerity and the singularity of his powerful personality are reflected in this piece made in white matte porcelain. Limited to its year of release, it stands on a wooden base with an inscription commemorating the anniversary.
