Jazz Saxophonist is a porcelain sculpture, original both in its subject and in its decoration. This saxophone player is a member of a jazz band, elegantly dressed for a show.

In gloss finish porcelain, the figure is decorated in dark colours, with black accents on the shirt, shoes and hatband. The trumpet is glazed with a shiny golden lustre. The figure is supported by a red-glazed block.
