The most majestic creature from ancient oriental culture is a universal symbol of power, fortune and good luck. Natural mineral pigments were used in the decoration, coated with a fine layer of metallic oxide to intensify the predominant red color. This tonality is further enhanced by the contrast of the golden details in the finish of the piece. Like the rest of the pieces in the Origami collection, this is a contemporary, innovative vision of the traditional Japanese art of origami, in which the geometric shapes produced by folding paper are transformed into facets with great sculptural and decorative impact.
