Porcelain figurine inspired by Buddhist philosophy, of a young monk with an umbrella in a matte granite finish contrasting with the tones of his skin and hair, joined to the base.
Buddha taught his disciples to seek spiritual enlightenment, just as the lotus flower opens its petals to the light of the sun. In such a way, the young monk walks his path with the serene, determined attitude of one who knows where he steps. The path of the sun is executed in matte porcelain, with its ornamentation highlighting the intense maroon of the tunic and umbrella which contrasts with the tones of his skin and hair. The wooden base is inseparably joined to the piece. Handmade in Valencia, Spain.
